Key Account Executives provide logistics solutions for all current and potential clients, through Aegis’ wide range of offerings: Truckload, Expedited, Supply Chain Management, and LTL. Logistics Specialists will be responsible for new client generation, current account management, creative lead generation and prospecting via cold calling. All Aegis team members sustain an extremely high-level of customer service for all current and potential clients.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Consult clients with their transportation and supply chain needs.
- Establish long term relationships with both clients and carriers alike.
- Follow-up with clients to guarantee the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively promote Aegis’ offerings to new and existing clients.
- Educate customer on market conditions, provide accurate quotes and price negotiation.
- Advise on financial recommendations on client’s behalf.
Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements

- 4-year degree or related experience in sales, account management, or supply chain
- 5+ years of logistics experience required
- 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ideal candidate: Organized, detail oriented, possess a sense of urgency and have no issue multi-tasking.
- Must be able to adapt to change quickly and work independently with zero supervision.
- Possess high energy and assertive attitude.
